Travelling, eating out, or working late? With SpoonWell you can pause or skip any meal before its cut-off, and it simply rolls over — extending your plan instead of being wasted. You never lose money on a meal you don't take. Here's exactly how it works.
Pause & skip
From your dashboard you can pick specific days to pause on a calendar (only your plan's delivery days are selectable). Skip a single meal or pause a stretch of days — whatever suits your week.
The cut-off times (important)
Because every meal is cooked fresh, changes must be made before the kitchen starts:
- Lunch: pause / skip / restore by 7:00 AM the same morning.
- Dinner: by 2:00 PM the same day.
After the cut-off, that meal is already being prepared, so your change applies from the next eligible delivery. The same cut-offs apply to restoring a meal you'd paused, and to changing your delivery address.
Rollover — why nothing is wasted
A paused or skipped meal isn't refunded and isn't lost — it rolls over and extends your subscription by that many meals at the end. If you skip 3 lunches this month, your plan simply runs 3 lunches longer. You always get every meal you paid for.
How much can you pause?
- Weekly plan: up to 2 meals per cycle.
- Monthly plan: up to 5 meals per cycle.
- Both lunch + dinner: allowance doubles (4 on weekly, 10 on monthly).
- Trial pack: can't be paused.
Restoring a meal
Changed your mind before the cut-off? Just restore the paused day from your dashboard and it's back on your schedule. Full details are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy and FAQ.
